We are planning a trip to Miatas at the Gap. It will be a six day trip that will include many activities and enjoying some of the best driving roads around. Leaving Erie on August 6th for a two day drive to Tellico Plains, TN. On the way down we will experience some of the most interesting roads around. BBQ and ice cream stops will be included! We will be staying at the Mountain View Cabins from August 7th departing the morning of August 12th. We have several events planned: Blue Ridge Train ride, MATG, a day trip to Georgia and Bald River Falls.

Canada drive/picnic, eh?

Saturday, August 23, 2025, 10:00 a.m. Meet at the Erie Intermodal Transportation Center, 208 Bayfront Parkway, Erie

This is the Niagara Peninsula Miata Club's annual summer picnic.  It will be a day trip with an optional overnight stay. It's always fun to visit our friend's up north. Ice cream and pizza may be part of this trip. PLEASE sign up by August 19th.

Combine Brothers

Saturday, August 30, 2025, depart at 11:30 a.m. from the Country Fair in McKean, 9030 Main Street.

Our 10th annual end of summer drive to Combine Brother’s for lunch. We plan to be at Combine around 1:00 p.m. Following lunch there will be a stop for home made ice cream at Handel's.

Another great summer day in Erie...almost. It started out as a perfect Sunday for the Poker Run. We almost made it through the course rain free. There was about 5 minutes of top up driving near the end. Thanks to Tim and 'Boom Boom' Criscione for leading our group. We pretty much sucked at the poker hand. However, we did have our own group poker hand that was won by 'Boom Boom'. With a pair of 8's, she pocketed just under $100!!! The worse hand went to new member Janette Koewacich. She got her $5 back. The food was excellent at Mound Grove Golf Course. All in all a pretty good outing...with one notable exception. We actually passed more than 5 ice cream places without a stop. This is sacrilegious for a PIMC drive. Because of that error, Tim was voted out of the club. ;)
